These days every second girl is dealing with ploy cystic syndrome (PCOS) and the symptoms vary for each of them. 1. Don’t Shun Good fats from your diet

It is very important to have good fats for your body to balance your hormones! Did you know that your body cannot produce progesterone without cholesterol? Yes! It can’t, well our body does but in very small amount and to balance it we need to feed our body properly. Good fats that you can consume are butter, coconut oil and extra virgin olive oil. Also stay away from processed vegetable oils like canola, soyabean oil, corn oil and vegetable oil.

2. It is advisable to avoid meat and animal products

Most animals are given hormone shots of estrogens and these get stored in animals as fat and in their meat. Ingesting hormones is actually doing damage to our bodies whether it is PMS, infertility or menopause. It is better if you can find organic food to eat. It's advisable to have food from farms where animals are fed organic grains.

3. Shun refined sugars and grains

Sugar is like a poison for women dealing with PCOS. Cutting down on all the refined sugars and foods with preservatives is very important. No doubt some sugar is required by the body to produce insulin. So stick to natural sugar.

4. Do take extra care of your liver

Liver is actually responsible for taking excess and old hormones out of the body. If you think that your liver has worked too hard because of over consumption of processed foods, then you can give it a little rest and detox as well. Take out some time once a month to gently cleanse the body by increasing the consumption of liver friendly foods like lemon, beets, and garlic.

5. Say no to preservatives

Chemicals present in the food to preserve the flavor are quite harmful and they can mess with your insulin production. Cutting down the processed food is the easiest way to lower the risk of hormonal issues in the body
